A statement ceiling for resident’s luxury spa

Ant Yapi is the principal contractor for a prestigious development.   Comprising of 57 luxury apartments, spanning 9 floors overlooking London’s Hyde Park. The developers hand-selected natural stones and designed the joinery, doors and iron work, emanating luxury throughout.  Our sister company, Bright Green Space discussed the initial designs using their expertise in structure and illumination for architectural spaces.

The challenge was to create a stunning ceiling, consistent with the building aesthetics for the 25m swimming pool, continuing into the gym within the resident’s spa. Ant Yapi also needed balcony lighting for the penthouse suites.

Swimming pool & Spa

Bright Green Grid is an ideal fit to illuminate the voids within the timber structure. Available in Dynamic White; allowing continuous colour temperature adjustment to suit a particular environment, it lends itself to restricted depth areas and comes in array of different sized panels.

We added an additional protective coating to ensure the system was resistant to the aggressive and humid swimming pool conditions.

Exterior balcony lighting

As well as the ceiling illumination, we also supplied LED lighting to illuminate the penthouse suites.  This provides a soft warm glow to the exterior of the building.

Bright Green Dual bend flexible Neon is a popular choice for architectural projects. Its compact form, high degree of flexibility and rugged IP rated nature makes it an ideal product for external applications. It is cuttable to any length required, reducing wastage and ensuring a perfect fit.

Power supplies are strategically located within remote electrical cabinets.  This guarantees full accessibility without causing any inconvenience to residents. Special care was taken when selecting the appropriate cable to eliminate any voltage drop, even over extended distances between the lights and power supplies.
