Innovating the 1st illuminated media system for buses in major cities around the world

The first of our 20th anniversary posts – a look back to the illuminated bus side.

Starting with 2002, this was the first major project and the foundation of our growth. Our strength in the Out of Home market and our expertise in LED Light Sheet both have their roots with the humble London bus. Bus media has more value when illuminated but developing a product to do this was very challenging.

We developed LED edge lit panels, a framing system and the electronics need to make it happen. We also won our first award for this innovation. This concept rolled out across the world to cities such as New York, Mexico City and Hong Kong.
